Beginning as a hobby, pottery soon became an
all-consuming passion that led me to study clay with
several teachers in Chicago and Northern Arizona after
settling in Sedona in 1993. Finding an art form that
also serves a function has been very satisfying. "It
thrills me to know that people are incorporating my
handwork into their daily lives and special occasions;
carrying a piece of me into their worlds.
As a
potter, I enjoy crafting functional pottery with all
the limitaitons and demands of the process. There are
rules with clay, but within those boundaries the
possiblities are endless."
Enjoy this pottery with care and it will last for
many years. Each piece is hand thrown and then twice
fired in my home studio here in Sedona. All my
pottery is lead-free, and safe for microwave,
dishwasher and oven. Enjoy!
